The Gospel of Christ: The Only Saving Power
Text: Romans 1:16-17 “Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
The Gospel of Christ is the only saving power for all humanity. “The Greek” in that verse of scripture stands for all nations of the world world. Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation for all the people of the world, your, continent, country, tribe or tongue not with standing
The Bible in Genesis 3, teaches that Adam and Eve, the first couple, sinned and brought condemnation to all of humanity. As a result man in general was brought under suffering and as such needed a solution to that judgement and condemnation. That solution is Jesus Christ.
God, while speaking to the tempter – Satan, said, the “seed of the woman would bruise your head”. This didn’t happen immediately. But several generations later, God proved His love for man, whom He made in His image and likeness by sending Jesus Christ who is the seed of the woman – the Virgin Mary, to come into the world, to die in our place, he went to hell, and took the power from the devil, set all men free from his bondage and resurrected, thereby giving His life to as many as believe in Him.
It is now left for the people of the world to accept this sacrifice and become free from the power of the devil.
Until you believe and accept what Jesus has done for you, you will still be under. the influence of Satan, sin, sickness and death. You will still be under condemnation.
Now what has the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus done for you, Who is reading this message? His death paid for all the sins you have committed and all you will ever commit. It has saved you from condemnation, sickness and death. You have been set free from the consequences of sin, which is suffering, sickness and death. You can live the God – Life now if you believe in Jesus and all He has done for you.
It doesn’t matter who you are, where you are coming from or what wrong you have ever done in life, all that is required of you is to believe in your heart that Jesus died in your place, He was raised from death by God and confess with your mouth that He is your Saviour and Lord.
Yes, that is all you need to be saved from sin and its consequences. That is the only solution to all your sin problems. You don’t need any sacrifice on your part. It is that simple. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the only saving power. Believe it, confess it, act on it and live by it.
You may be facing a situation in your life, that has defied every possible solution you can ever think of. You can bring that problem to Jesus, He alone has the solution to all problems.
Again, if you have never thought of. believing the Gospel of Jesus, or you have not accepted Him as your Lord and Saviour. You have the opportunity to do so now. And be rest assured that He will take care of that situation for you. Jesus said all that labour and carry heavy load, should come to Him – Matthew 11-28-30. The solution to that problem is in Jesus Christ, so what are you waiting for? He is beckoning on you to come, you don’t need any special sacrifice, just come as you are.
Would you give Him the chance to change that situation? He is waiting for you with open arms, just say this prayer of salvation below.
Dear heavenly Father, I thank You for Your son Jesus, I believe He died for me, I believe You raised Him from death, and I confess Him as my Lord and Saviour. Holy Spirit, come into my heart, dwell in me, walk in me, talk through me and live through me. Thank you, Lord, for saving me in Jesus’ name… Amen.
