How to Experience Healing Through the Christ in You: A Practical Guide to Living the God-life.

Text: Colossians 1:27 – “Christ in you, the hope of glory.”

Welcome to Kingdom Reality! Many believers know that Jesus died to save them from sin, but few understand the full reality of Christ living in them. This truth includes not only salvation but also divine health, healing, and restoration in every area of life.
In this teaching, we’ll explore how to experience healing through the Christ in you, providing practical steps to live in the reality of your spiritual inheritance.

Understanding Your Inheritance

One critical step is to become aware of what you already have in Christ. Awareness activates manifestation. Imagine having money in a bank account that you didn’t know about—you can’t spend it until you realize it exists. Similarly, many Christians are unaware that divine health and healing are part of their inheritance. Some believe sickness is normal because they are “flesh and blood,” quoting:
“…the life of the flesh is in the blood.” — Leviticus 17:11.

But as a child of God, your life is now sustained by the Spirit dwelling in you. Healing, wholeness, and divine health are already provided in Christ.

What the New Birth Really Means

“But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God… born of God.” — John 1:12–13
Being born again means you are born of the Spirit, not of blood. Romans 3:23 reminds us that humanity lost the glory of God through sin. But in John 17:22, Jesus declares:
“The glory which You gave Me I have given them… that they may be made perfect in one.”
Explanation: The glory lost through sin is now restored in Christ. This includes life, health, authority, and divine empowerment. When you acknowledge this, your spirit, mind, and body align with God’s provision, making healing and wholeness a natural part of your life.

Spend Time in God’s Presence Daily

Many Christians focus on praying for miracles instead of cultivating an intimate fellowship with God. True transformation comes from daily encounters with Him.

“And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” — John 17:3
Set aside time every day to study the Word and pray. Don’t just bring your problems—seek to know Him and understand His glory. Matthew 6:33 reminds us:
“Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.”

Meditate on God’s Word and Healing Promises

Meditation goes beyond reading—it’s deep reflection, visualization, and declaration of God’s promises.
How to meditate on healing scriptures:
Select Healing Verses – Examples: Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24, Psalm 103:2-3.
Reflect on the Glory Restored in You – Connect each verse with the truth that glory lost through sin (Romans 3:23) is restored in Christ (John 17:22).
Visualize Your Healing – Picture yourself fully restored, strong, and healthy.
Confess the Word Aloud – Declare healing scriptures as already manifest in your body and life.
Repeat Daily – Consistency strengthens faith and activates the Spirit’s power in you.
Why this works: God’s Word is spirit and life (John 6:63). Meditation internalizes your identity as a child of God, walking in restored glory, health, and wholeness.

Acknowledge Who You Are in Christ

“That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.” — John 3:6
You are born of God! The Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead now gives life to your body (Romans 8:11). By affirming this truth, you align yourself with the life-giving power already within you.
Take Action: Apply These Steps Daily
Become Aware of It – Know that healing and divine life are yours in Christ.
Meditate on God’s Word – Reflect, visualize, and declare His promises daily.
Seek God’s Presence – Prioritize daily fellowship and communion with Him.
Acknowledge Your Identity – Walk in the confidence of being a child of God, filled with His glory.

A Call to Salvation

Healing, peace, and eternal life are found in Christ Jesus. If you haven’t accepted Him as Lord and Savior, pray this salvation prayer:
“Lord Jesus, I believe You died for me and that God raised You from the dead. I confess You as my Lord and Savior. Holy Spirit, come into my heart, dwell in me, walk in me, talk through me, and live through me. Thank You, Lord, for saving me. Amen.”
